○ The Consumer Price Index was 107.56(2020=100) in May 2022. The index increased 0.7 percent from the preceding month and
     rose 5.4 percent from the same month of the previous year.

○ The index excluding food and energy was 104.60 in May 2022. The index increased 0.5 percent from the preceding month and
    rose 3.4 percent from the same month of the previous year.
